Chinguar Gold Project

Overview

• Very large Land Position: The Chinguar Gold Project is a single, very large, granted Prospection Title with an area of 3,342km2.
• Gold Discovered by Garimpo in Multiple Locations: Tyranna will be the first company to explore the Project systematically for gold and other elements using modern exploration methods.
• New Government Datasets Facilitate Initial Targeting: 1:250,000 geological mapping shows that garimpo workings occur near or along major faults in Neoarchean and Paleoproterozoic greenstones and granites.
• Gold is being won from both Sediments and Laterites. Both styles of mineralisation may act as vectors for discovering primary gold mineralisation.
• Nearby Logistics Centre and Excellent Access: Flat, dry terrain, sealed roads within the Lobito Corridor and a network of tracks reflective of agricultural land.
• Located within the Lucapa Graben: A geological structure that developed when Africa and South America split about 130 million years ago, which hosts numerous forms of alkali intrusives including carbonatites and kimberlites.
• Potential for other commodities: Recent reconnaissance sampling identified manganese mineralisation in outcrops.

Outlook

Tyranna is the first modern exploration company to evaluate this Prospection Title and our geological team has started generating target zones.  Drainage basins and catchment areas (domains) have been delineated from Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) digital elevation data, providing maps of water flow, watershed boundaries, and stream networks within the Project.

These domains will be progressively tested using geochemistry.  Initially stream sediment sampling will be used to test large areas, with subsequent sampling narrowing these areas down.  When a target area is evident, mapping and soil geochemistry will be used to narrow this down to the point when it can be drilled.
