Tyranna Resources Ltd (TYX) is an ASX listed mineral explorer and for the past 4 years has been operating in Angola, Africa.

The Company aims to discover and develop demand-driven metal minerals in this emerging jurisdiction, to create wealth for shareholders and local Angolans, by providing constituents needed as the global population transitions to clean energy technologies.

Tyranna initiated its project generation initiative during 2024 by appraising numerous projects offered by Angolan promoters and title holders, as well from a review of IGEO datasets.

Board and management

NON-EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN

JOE GRAZIANO

Joe has over 30 years’ experience providing a wide range of business, financial and taxation advice. Over the past 7 years he has been focused on Corporate Advisory and strategic planning with Corporations and Private Businesses. He has extensive experience in Capital Raisings, ASX compliance and regulatory requirements. Joe is currently a director of Pathways Corporate Pty Ltd a specialised Corporate Advisory business and sits on several Boards of ASX Listed Companies. He also provides CFO and Company Secretarial services as part of his service offering.

PAUL WILLIAMS

Paul has been directly involved in Angola since 2008 and continues that association in his belief that the true potential of Angola’s mineral resources has not yet been discovered or developed.

He has proven performance in Angola via his involvement with the Longonjo licence:

  • Paul recognised the potential of the Longonjo licence and was directly responsible for the establishment of Ozango Minerais SA in Angola (Ozango is the company that holds the Longonjo licence and Rare Earth Project in Angola).
  • He introduced Pensana (originally Rift Valley Resources) to Angola and Ozango.
  • Pensana have since developed the Longonjo Rare Earth Project into a world class deposit.

Paul spent his initial working years in accounting, finance and project management and the last twenty years in the mining and resources sector with Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) listed companies involved in Australia, Angola, Mauritania and Kenya.

MANAGING DIRECTOR

DAVID CROOK

David Crook is a geologist and company director with over 40 years’ experience. He has worked on a range of commodities including lithium, caesium, nickel and gold, and has managed teams with a good discovery record.

He was the inaugural Managing Director of Pioneer Resources Limited, a role he held for 16 years, and inaugural MD of Charger Metals NL. He has relevant experience having worked in teams on a number of lithium deposits in Western Australia and Canada, which included in the discovery of the Dome North Spodumene Deposit, discovery and mining of the Sinclair Caesium Deposit and advancement of other lithium projects in Canada and Australia. Mr Crook is also a non-executive Director of Burley Minerals Limited.

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Davide Bosio

Davide is an experienced company director with significant financial services, resources and listed company experience, currently serving as a non-executive director at gold producer, Black Cat Syndicate Limited (ASX: BC8), junior explorer Lord Resources Limited (ASX:LRD), junior explorer Alice Queen Limited (AQX), and Yojee Ltd (ASX: YOJ), a technology company focussed on transport management and freight forwarding.

Previous listed roles include having served on the board of De Grey Mining Ltd (ASX: DEG), recently acquired by Northern Star Limited (ASX:NST), as well as Spectrum Metals Ltd which was ultimately acquired by Ramelius Resources Ltd (ASX: RMS) and Digital X Ltd (ASX:DCC) a fintech company focussed on Bitcoin and digital assets.

Most recently, Davide served as the WA State Manager and Director of Corporate Finance at investment and wealth management firm Shaw and Partners (Shaw) having overseen the sale of the historic WA broking firm, DJ Carmichael Pty Limited to Shaw in 2019. For over 25 years, Davide has been immersed in the WA finance industry offering corporate services and strategic advice to private and public organisations, specifically in relation to capital management and M&A.

COMPANY SECRETARY

TIM SLATE

Tim is the founder and director of Catalyst Corporate, a boutique consulting firm. Mr Slate has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia, is a Chartered Accountant, is an Associate Member of the Governance Institute of Australia and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Mr. Slate has over 15 years’ experience providing accounting, secretarial and corporate advice to private and public companies across a variety of sectors. Mr Slate was appointed as Company Secretary on 1 December 2019.

COUNTRY MANAGER

EDSON PAULO NUNES

Paulo holds a Bachelor’s degree in financial management, a MBA in Project Financing and 17 years’ experience in the Angolan mining sector. He has been Country Manager and Managing Director for Ozango Minerais, a subsidiary of Pensana Plc. Over the years Paulo has developed a vast network in the government and commercial industries that are necessary to help carry out mining projects in Angola efficiently.
