Tyranna Resources Ltd (TYX) is an ASX listed resources and exploration company primarily focused on lithium exploration in Angola, Africa. Our aim is to discover and develop a lithium source of global significance to create wealth for shareholders and local Angolans and assist the global adoption of clean energy.

NON-EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN

JOE GRAZIANO

Joe has over 30 years’ experience providing a wide range of business, financial and taxation advice. Over the past 7 years he has been focused on Corporate Advisory and strategic planning with Corporations and Private Businesses. He has extensive experience in Capital Raisings, ASX compliance and regulatory requirements. Joe is currently a director of Pathways Corporate Pty Ltd a specialised Corporate Advisory business and sits on several Boards of ASX Listed Companies. He also provides CFO and Company Secretarial services as part of his service offering.

PAUL WILLIAMS

Paul has been directly involved in Angola since 2008 and continues that association in his belief that the true potential of Angola’s mineral resources has not yet been discovered or developed.

He has proven performance in Angola via his involvement with the Longonjo licence:

  • Paul recognised the potential of the Longonjo licence and was directly responsible for the establishment of Ozango Minerais SA in Angola (Ozango is the company that holds the Longonjo licence and Rare Earth Project in Angola).
  • He introduced Pensana (originally Rift Valley Resources) to Angola and Ozango.
  • Pensana have since developed the Longonjo Rare Earth Project into a world class deposit.

Paul spent his initial working years in accounting, finance and project management and the last twenty years in the mining and resources sector with Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) listed companies involved in Australia, Angola, Mauritania and Kenya.

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

PETER SPITALNY

Peter is an exploration geologist specialising in early-stage lithium, gold, and copper projects and has worked-on or assessed many early-stage mineral projects in Australia, and also Africa, Europe, North America, and South America, for a range of clients and has achieved mineralisation discoveries for them.

He also has experience of Resource-definition in advanced projects and has acted as chief technical adviser and Competent Person for several companies including AVZ Minerals for their Manono Lithium and Tin Project, located in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. His work included ranking the development potential of the pegmatites and recommending focusing upon the Roche Dure pegmatite, subsequently designing the drill-logging, sampling, and QA/QC strategies for the resource definition drilling of the pegmatite. He developed the geological model of the Roche Dure pegmatite and wrote all the technical reports that underpinned the maiden Resource Estimate of the spodumene mineralisation in the Roche Dure pegmatite, the largest hard-rock lithium Mineral Resource in the world.

Peter has experience in the operation of public companies, having served as a director of Ardiden Ltd, and having served as a high-level consultant collaborating with directors of several public companies. His services as a recognized Competent Person (compliant with the JORC Code 2012) are and have been utilized by several public companies for assessing and reporting exploration results.

DAVID WHEELER

David has more than 30 years of Senior Executive Management, Directorships, and Corporate Advisory experience. He is a foundation Director and Partner of Pathways Corporate a boutique Corporate Advisory firm that undertakes assignments on behalf of family offices, private clients, and ASX listed companies. David has engaged in business projects in the USA, UK, Europe, NZ, China, Malaysia, Singapore and the Middle East.

David is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has experience on public and private company boards, currently holding a number of Directorships and Advisory positions in Australian companies.

COMPANY SECRETARY

TIM SLATE

Tim is the founder and director of Catalyst Corporate, a boutique consulting firm. Mr Slate has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia, is a Chartered Accountant, is an Associate Member of the Governance Institute of Australia and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Mr. Slate has over 15 years’ experience providing accounting, secretarial and corporate advice to private and public companies across a variety of sectors. Mr Slate was appointed as Company Secretary on 1 December 2019.

COUNTRY MANAGER

EDSON PAULO NUNES

Paulo holds a Bachelor’s degree in financial management, a MBA in Project Financing and 17 years’ experience in the Angolan mining sector. He has been Country Manager and Managing Director for Ozango Minerais, a subsidiary of Pensana Plc. Over the years Paulo has developed a vast network in the government and commercial industries that are necessary to help carry out mining projects in Angola efficiently.
